Meeting with the writers who live and write in exile: Mariusz Wilk, Bronisław Świderski and Zbigniew Kruszyński. The host of the meeting: Tomasz Tyczyński.
We hosted the writers who have experienced the life and artistic work outside their native country: “a voluntary emigrant” - Mariusz Wilk, who claims he is not an emigrant; Bronisław Świderski, exiled from Poland after the March 1968 events, who wrote about emigration not only in his novels but also in scientific and journalistic texts and Zbigniew Kruszyński, a political emigrant in the 1980s. Although the latter returned to Poland, the emigration experience is one of the most important themes of his prose.
The panel discussion regarding Literature and Emigration was the last event within The Return of Gombrowicz cycle.
